geocaching

We have started a new family activity...geocaching! When I started teaching all over the Grand Erie board (a HUGE area!) Pierre got a GPS for me/us. He made sure it could also be used for geaocaching, and we have been busy exploring and treasure hunting! These pictures are of our fist day out searching. The idea is to take a treasure, leave a treasure, but so far, we have had just as much fun just finding the caches and leaving our name on the log in the container.
Here the girls and Pierre went just off the trail by the river near our house and they found the cache hidden behind a tree.

The girls picked some wild flowers for me, and I couldn't resist taking their pictures.

mmm...raspberries

I know it's been quite a while and a few people have been looking for new posts recently, so I will try to make up for my absence from the blog over the summer. I took these pictures a couple of months ago, but I thought they were still cute enough to share. Emma has decided to eat her raspberries like this, this summer. My goofy girl!

I guess eating them like this makes them taste batter, because she has been eating them like this ever since!
