baby jack

I got the opportunity to take pictures of my darling nephew Jack last week. Here are a 'few' of the pictures from the photo session! What an adorable little guy. I just LOVE all the cute faces he gave me.....and how peaceful does he look when he is sleeping? An absolute doll!!!

a family visit and a couple of day trips

The family came to visit last week, so while they were here, we took a couple of day trips. One to Ontario Place, and later in the week we went to Marineland. The rides were definitely the hit of the day both days! Since Marineland is in Niagara Falls, we drove down to see the Falls, and went to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. Very cool place! (and a VERY exhausting day!) The other days were spent vegging out at the house around the pool and playing very competitive games of Bocce in the backyard. It was great having them here, and as always, they didn't stay long enough!

ice age 3 @ the drive-in!!!

We took the girls to the Starlight Drive-In last week. We packed up TONS of candy, pop, pillows, blankets, and bug spray! Ice Age 3 was playing-it was so cute! The girls snuggled up in the back of the van with all the blankets and pillows (and candy) and settled in to enjoy the show. I didn't get to go to Drive-In until I was 25......these kids are so lucky to go so soon in their lives! The first question when we left was "When can we do that again?!?!?!?" I'd say that was a successful night!

backyard campout!

Pierre and the girls had a backyard campout last night! Pierre pitched the tent, got a fire going and they roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. They had a walkie talkie so they could talk to me inside. They slept out all night! They had a lot of fun!
